Jose Chameleone is elated after getting endorsement in form of the First Lady Janet Museveni, to attend his One Man, One Show, One Million concert slated for 18th December at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

Chameleone could do with the endorsement as two other events are targeting party animals on the same date. Zari will be holding Ciroc All White Party at Guvnor and she has hired the services of Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz as the night’s entertainer while the Arab Money party will also be happening at Cayenne on the same night.

Chameleone’s cover charge is Sh1m per head and the aim of the concert is to raise funds to build latrines and boreholes for the people of Karamoja.

The singer was touched by the plight of the people in the region when he went there to shoot his Wale Wale video earlier this year.

On 12th November, he wrote to the office of the First Lady who also happens to be the Minister for Karamoja Affairs and on Monday December she has confirmed attendance of the show.

“Youth empowerment is what we sought and we have been granted. It is such an Honour that the First Lady, Mother, Hon. Minister of Karamoja Affairs to Accept to grace the event that uplifts our fellow Ugandans In this time of Change and Development. With such endorsement and encouragement We must be Happy to be tools to society,” Chameleone said.

“The purpose of life is not only to be happy about what you have achieved. It is to be useful along the way and discovering that our legacy is not found in all that we dream. It can be written in the memories of those whose lives we’ve touched, cared for and changed,” he said.
