Over the past few years, the Phat Fest has established itself as the biggest annual Gospel music concert.

This year’s event is on this Friday 12th December and the headline act is renowned American Gospel rapper Emmanuel Lee Lambert Jr aka Da Truth.

Zambian crooner Abel Chungu Musuka and Kenyan gospel group S.O.C are also confirmed to perform.

The Phat Fest is that time one the year when the savedees switch their stuck-up personalities to party mode as they dance to the music “in the name of Jesus.”

The event is organised by Power FM and while they are at it stomping the grass at Kyaddondo Rugby Grounds, several pastors including Watoto Church head Gary Skinner interject the performances with a sermons to keep the largely young crowd focused on the Lord.

Ugandan artistes including Ruyonga, Coopy Bly, Levixone, Daisy Ejang, Holy Keane, Brian Lubega, Robinsan, Kanji, Wilson Bugembe and Jackie Ssenyonjo among others will also perform.

Tickets are being sold at Shs20,000 for ordinary and Shs50,000 for V.I.P.
