Kampala’s yuppies, celebs and wannabes flocked Uganda Museum gardens for the eighth edition of the Blankets and Wine Festival on Sunday. South African band Freshly Ground performed for more than one and a half hours and although their audience didn’t know most of the songs, they bobbed their heads in approval thanks to the band’s melodious tunes and the wine that was taking its toll on the revelers heads. It was not until they performed Doo Bee Doo and Pot Belly, their popular songs that everyone “got in class.” They crowned the show with Waka Waka 2010 official World Cup song that was originally done by with Colombian star Shakira.  Mun*G, Naava Grey, Ekky, Michael Kitanda and Jose Chameleone also perfomed at the Tusker sponsored show.
