On February 12th 1982, Willington Sentamu held his newly born son in his arms for the first time and named Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu. The little boy who had just been born was to later become the Bobi Wine that we know yoday. Exactly 33 years later, on 12th February 2015, Bobi Wine was burying his father, bidding him farewell from this world!!!
Bobi Wine was supposed to be somewhere enjoying his birthday, but it had to be a teary one as he bade farewell to his old man that was popularly known as Bulaya.

“This is the day I was brought to this earth, this is the day that I am going to put away from the face of the earth the man that brought me here, this is my most sorrowful birthday, he didn’t say happy birthday to me this year, but am sure he is saying “Happy Earth stay son” Rest is Peace my General, Mzee Sentumu who passed away at 80 was laid to rest in Ggomba,” Bobi Wine said.

He described his father as a very hardworking man who taught him the values of hard work.
Mzee Sentamu is surivved by close to 40 children including musivians Bobi Wine, Eddy Yawe, Banjo Man and Mickie Wine.
