COCO FINGER

“Mzee kigyana yali Fire Brigade Officer yabivaako kati ali Entebbe nga taxi driver …” That was a line in Coco Finger’s 2009 hit Emikono Wagulu that propelled him onto the music scene. The line was in reference to his dad Mzee Augustine Otuke who has passed away.

Coco Finger, real name Moses Okori has been financing his dad’s medication for the past two years as the old man has been in and out of hospital. Medical complications started after the old man who lived in Entebbe suffered a stroke in 2013.

Coco Finger has been on a tour of Schengen countries and he last performed in Amsterdam a week ago.

Our condolences go out to the singer and his family.
