The grim reaper has struck again, this time taking the life of local singer Harriet Kisakye.

The singer passed away at the Intensive Care Unit of IHK hospital in Namuwongo. The cause of her death is not yet established as the illness she was suffering from is unknown. However, she had a septic wound on her fore arm that only kept getting worse.

Kisaskye was admitted to Mulago Hospital and it took the intervention of FDC founder Dr Kiiza Besigye who requested that she be transferred to IHK for better attention.

The singer was behind songs like Ekinigeria that called for women to give love potions to their husbands like in Nigerian movies, Gyenvudde and Ebintu Tubirye, a song that is popular n Kwanjula playlists.
