Ivan Kamyuka, has this Tuesday afternoon been remanded to Luzira prison on charges of murder.

It is alleged that Kamyuka 33, hit Johhnie Ahimbisibwe with a glass during an altercation in Guvnor Nightclub on Saturday night, causing his death.

Ahimbisibwe was rushed by Guvnor management to Case Medical Centre, but he was pronounced dead.

Nakawa Magistrate’s Court Grade one Magistrate Christine Nantege didn’t allow Kamyuka to take plea as the matter is only triable by High Court, remanding him to Luzira until the 18th August.

Ahimbisibwe had a child with Kamyuka’s wife Nina and she was present during the scuffle.
