zizaDancehall singer Ziza Bafana had a black Friday after his Guluma Nasomye concert that was supposed to be held at Kati Kati Grounds in Lugogo was cancelled.

The stage and lighting had already been set up when Kampala City Council Authority swung into action faulting the show organisers for not going through proper procedures of seeking the authority for permission to hold the show.

Sources say the organisers pleaded with KCCA officials and were willing to pay the necessary fees, but the KCCA offices had already been closed.

Also, Kati Kati Grounds in one of the venues that KCCA had previously banned from holding concerts over noise pollution and not adhering to rules of having shows end at midnight.

Lugogo Cricket Oval was another of the previously blacklisted venues and last year Club Beer had to hold their Mega Fest in Namboole Stadium.

The good thing is that Ziza Bafana had already been paid most of the money for the concert by the promoters.

The show has now been postponed to 30th August at Freedom City Mall in Najjanankumbi, Entebbe Road.
