It is the biggest annual kids event with lots entertainment and fun activities for kids like exhibiting talents on stage, mobile swimming pools, bouncing castle a  zoo with wild animals brought from the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre in Entebbe.

New father Weasel and his singing partner Radio will not only bring their toddlers to attend the event but also put up an hour long performance.

“Children love Radio and Weasel and we are glad to announce that they have agreed to perform for the little superstars at the event,” the My Kid Is A Superstar CEO Joseph Masembe told us.

The festival is organised by the Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green organization that Masembe also held. The aim of the organisation is to inculcate the values of environmental conservation among children and it has been undertaking countrywide tree planting initiatives over the past three years.

The festival is also pegged around environmental conservation and children will be able to take fruit trees home to plant after the event. Radio and Weasel will not only perform but they will also drum up the conservation message.

“Radio and Weasel are not only going to headline the event by performing their hit songs, but they are joining us on our primary goal of empowering the children to commandeer the environment conservation drive,” Masembe said.

“They are going to push for tree planting amongst children at the concert as they perform. And even before and after their performances, they will be giving out tree seedlings. They have to seed it into the kids, that their environment is their future,” he added.

Lots of other performers are also lined up. Entrance to the event will be Shs10,000 for children and free for adults accompanying the children.
