The suave Amama Mbabazi is always prepared for any eventualities. There was a heavy downpour this afternoon as Amama was set to address his first rally at Nakivubo Stadium.

The grounds are known to be soggy during the rain and we felt sorry for Amama Mbabazi, but he had one ahead of us. He pulled out of his ride in green gum boots, gleaming as he waved to an esctatic crowd that was swimming in the soggy grounds, all wet after being drenched in the rains.

“I thank you for braving the rain. I know the ground is soggy and I thank you for being patient,” Amama told the crowd.
