If he doesn’t get a miraculous result to advance, Arsene Wenger’s fixture against Barcelona tonight might be the Frenchman’s last charge of the gunners in Europe’s elite competition.

According to British newspaper Daily Mail, despite having the full backing of the Gunners board Wenger could choose to quit Arsenal if the current supporter unrest continues.
Over the last few games, in which Wenegr has suffered defeats to Swansea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Watford, Arsenal fans have come out to vehemently criticize the Frenchman’s tactics and the long drought without a major trophy. A banner calling for him to leave unfurled during the club’s FA Cup clash with Hull City.

Wenger has a year remaining on his current deal after this season and has always insisted he sees out his contracts, but now he could opt to walk away from the club he has served for 20 years.
