magufuli2#WhatWouldMagufuliDo if you are a minister who comes to Parliament drunk? Your guess is as good as ours. Tanzanian President John Magufuli last week fired Home Affairs Minister Charles Kitwanga for misconduct after the Minister allegedly came to Parliament drunk.

President Magufuli has received praise since taking over the leadership in the East African nation last November. He is commended for his unapologetic stance on fighting corruption and profligacy.

Nicknamed the Bulldozer, Magufuli surprised many this year by scrapping the country’s 54th independence celebrations, instead choosing to lead a clean-up campaign.
