Just days after 28 people lost their lives in accidents on Masaka Road, another horrible accident has claimed lives of 10 people, leaving four injured in Ntungamo district.

“This Friday afternoon at around 2.30pm, Everest Muhangi lost control of his Fuso Truck UAV 415V and rammed into onion traders,” Vincent Ssekate the Rwizi Region Police spokesperson said.

“Four injured people have been rushed to Ntojo Hospital for treatment and the dead bodies are also at Ntojo Hospital mortuary,” he said.

“The driver of the vehicle has been arrested. He will be taken to court to face charges of reckless driving,” said Vincent Ssekate.
