Our girls started the game at a high temple which enabled them to get an opening goal in the first five opening minutes of the game being scored by Hasifa Nassuna.

However, the hosts lost momentum for the rest of the minutes as the visitors managed to make a heavy come back thus showering our girls with 4 goals. Ethiopia’s Zeregaw Erhima struck a hat trick and Losa Abera also registered her name on the scoring sheet after the cranes failed to keep up with Ethiopia’s energy.

This means Ethiopia has managed to scoop the Bronze medal.

In the finals, Tanzania beat Kenya 2-1.
