Oxfam International Executive Director Winnie Byanyima is alive and well.

Opposition leader Rtd. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye’s wife Winnie Byanyima is the most recent victim of death hoaxes and has joked about rumours that she has passed away in London.

German website www.dw-tv3.com reported that the Oxfam International Executive Director had succumbed to cardiac arrest after being rushed to Westminster Hospital in London.

Byanyima took to her Twitter account to dispel the rumours saying she was in London eating cassava and G-nuts.

Must quote Mark Twain -“the report of my death has been grossly exaggerated.” Im in Oxford eating cassava & gnut.

It looks like the website that reported her death thrives on hoaxes as a click on their “About Us” page indicates that the website “breaks rumours.”
