Jenny rolled in for the Kampala City Festival in this convertible Merc.

One of the highlights of the annual KCCA Festival is the ride that the city Executive Director Jennifer Musisi arrives in. This time she appeared in a coffee brown sleek convertible Mercedes complete with Nankulu (boss lady), he private plate for the day.

The drop top coupe had two deep red leather seats and was one of the head turns as Musisi waved to festival goers, wearing a red dress to match.

Turns out the car belongs to Wavah.

However, it later turned out that the car belongs to tycoon Gordon Wavamunno, the holder of the Mercedes Benz franchise in Uganda. Musisi’s Nankulu plate fell off later in the day, revealing the private licence plate WAVAH ONE, indicating that the ride belongs to the Spear Motors boss.

Wavah’s WBS TV was recently put up for receivership by Uganda Revenue Authority over tax arrears amounting to Shs2bn and many wrote him off as having gone broke. Well, having Wavah’s convertible Benz on Ugandan roads costs no less than Shs400m, which means he is still solid.
