Makerere  students  have vowed to stage a demonstration in case the University fails to resolve the wi-Fi break down issue as soon as possible.

While explaining the cause of the Internet fault, the Dean of students said that the Wi-Fi broke down after the Optic Fiber was cut as they landscaped and excavated at a nearby nursery school. The headmaster of the Nursery school had been notified to work this out but he was reluctant.

The Dean of Students Cyriaco Kabagambe read a letter from the Vice Chancellor to the rowdy students from both Nkrumah and Nsibirwa halls, which restored hope in their hearts. According to this letter, the university has allocated funds to sort out the issue.

‘’Since the students can’t wait anymore, the university is going to sort the technical problem by midday tomorrow, so we urge you to create a favorable working space for technicians,” concluded the Dean.

However the guild president Roy Ssemboga, who is well aware of the unfulfilled promises the university has always made to students boldly warned the Dean to  immediately rule out the irregularities.

“we shall come in a different fashion tomorrow if they don’t restore the Internet,’’ Ssemboga said.
