Leah Kagasa, a Kampala model was crowned Miss Uganda at Kampala Serena Hotel on Saturday evening. She was also named Miss Popularity and Miss People’s Choice.
Charlotte Kyohairwe was named first-runner up while Ritah Ricky Mutoni wrapped up the top three.
Kagasa has just concluded her Marketing degree at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and she is set to graduate later this month.
The Tooro beauty is a daughter of Paul and Florence Mutwamu Nyakazingo, both teachers at Kyebambe Girls School in Fort Portal.
Kagasa studied at Buhinga Primary school in Fort Portal, Bweranyangi Girls’ School in Bushenyi and Maryhill High school in Mbarara before joining MUBS.
She will represent Uganda in the Miss World finals later this year.
