Mbuga and fiancee Vivianne

Tycoon SK Mbuga’s much anticipated multi-million dollar wedding with fiancee Vivianne Birungi is slated for next Saturday- November 26, we can confirm. However, like earlier indicated, the Mbugas’ wedding is not any ordinary matrimonial ceremony! Besides the wedding budget standing a little shy of $1.5m (about Shs5.1b), Mbuga and Vivianne might just become the first couple to ever exchange their vows in both the Kibuli and Old Kampala mosques.

The two mosques have been at war for some time and as a matter of fact, each mosque has its own followers with a separate leader. In the meantime, we have established that the Mbugas intend to hold a motorcade procession from Kibuli, through the city center, all the way to Old Kampala Mosque and then back to the Kampala Serena Hotel for their reception.

We have also gathered that, before the wedding, Mbuga will officially be introduced to Vivianne’s parents in Buziga in the course of next week. Vivianne is a sister to singer King Saha’s manager Sam Mukasa.  Little wonder Sam has been riding in Mbuga’s Jeep for the past several months. All the best to the Mbugas!
