Nwagi and the oga at the video shoot.

What’s with Nigerians and our curvy singers. First it was Desire Luzinda who had a fling with a Nigerian and now Musawo singer Winnie Nwagi has been “taken” by a Naija boy. Relax guys, it was only a music video shoot for the singer’s Kano Koze song.

The Nigerians respected Buganda traditions.

Nwagi replayed the traditional Kiganda introduction ceremony in the song with the Nigerians even presenting a Buganda certificate and a portait of the Kabaka. At the end, Nwagi dons a Nigerian attire in a send off that is witnessed by her fellow Swangz Avenue songtress Irene Ntale.

Ntale witnessed Nwagi’s “give-away.”

On first seeing the photos surfacing on social media, some men’s blood was boiling, angered that a Nigerian had scooped Nwagi, only to realise it was a music video.

The song is expected to increase Nwagi’s earnings on the kwanjula circuit. She is already one of the go to girls for such functions among urban elites who find musicians like Irene Namatovu “local”.
