Yes, Kampala is the new hub for freshest talent on the continent. After, flying in MiCasa, Sauti Sol, Jemi Alade, another top notch star is jetting in this party animals’ favourite place to be. Latest on our desk reveals that Abryanz is flying in “Bend down pause” hitmaker Runtown to Kampala.  I guess y’all have been twerking to that song! He is coming all the way from Lagos to Kampala like he sings in his song featuring Wiz Kid. He will be the headlining act at the Abryanz Style and Fashion awards this weekend.

“I say Lagos to Kampala
Say na we dey make the place catch fire
London to New York to Kigali
Ooh all the ladies just dey look for me
Lagos to Kampala”

Yes, I know you are familiar with that hit song: Lagos to Kampala by Runtown featuring Wiz Kid. Oh, Wiz Kid might not be the name you want to hear right now after the show cancellation over the weekend but no worries, Runtown is equally a gem on the mic.run

Runtown is a fast rising Nigerian artiste. His hit song, Garllado featuring Davido in 2014 received massive airplay. He was also said to have sold a song of his to Davido titled “Aye” a song which is arguably the biggest hit of the year 2014 in Nigeria. But he later denied it, and said even if he sold it that it is nobody’s business. Well in Kampala, we all love  the energetic “Bend down pause” and “Lagos to Kampala”.

The awards that are sponsored by Ciroc will take place this Friday December 9 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
