The ten biggest fashion trends that rocked 2016 (and may survive in 2017)

We were at the biggest events that rocked this year. We captured the moments. We celebrate with you the best of fashion this year had for you. From vintage throwback 90’s chokers to new school trends, how many of these did you pull off?

Chokers

It started with the 90’s piece of ribbon-like fabric tied around the neck like one headed for a suicide mission. More glamour was added as metallic chokers became a statement, the kind this lady rocked at Blanket and Wines.

2.Septum ring

That ring in the nose! However, I hope this trend does not cross to 2017.

3. Plunging neckline

Plunging neckline gowns and evening dresses were a big hit for formal gatherings and events this year. Ladies did not bother with push-up bras to achieve that teen-like pointed breasts cleavage. They just simply set the mammary goodies free from bondage. Simple silver necklaces accentuated the look. Did you notice the septum ring she is rocking? Never mind, I understand what you were staring at! Modifications of the plunge were lacy for the conservative and the netted ones.

4. Denim

Denim was the in-thing for casual look. It was teamed with white to achieve the peaceful view of the white clouds drifting across the blue sky like this couple our lens captured at Guvnor Frost Ciroc party.

5. Shorts

Shorts were in vogue for both males and females.

6. All white everything

The immaculate all white innocence ever lost touch!

7. Off- the-shoulders

Yes, the off the shoulder tops were in vogue. This lady was so in touch with prevailing trends that she rocked ripped denim plus the chokers!

8. Floral shirts

One word for this mzee? Fashion killer. Well those are two words. Yes, she slayed the white and floral shirts. The shirt was matched with polka dotted loafers while the pants and cap brought out the youth in him! Benefits of dating campusers? Just saying though.

9. Plunging zipper dress

For whatever fetish reasons, the designer who came up with this dress spoke my mind out loud. Isn’t this the most sexy yet decent look of 2016? This is one dress that makes my mind race with kinky ideas.

10. Sweatpants

Sweat pants were in vogue and tomboys for the very first time feel threatened by “normal chics”.

How many of these did you have in your wardrobe?
