As KCCA FC is preparing to jet off to South Africa today afternoon, their first choice goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan will not travel with the team following the death of his father Dominic Elepu yesterday evening. He passed on at Mulago hospital.

The squad will travel to South Africa to prepare for Friday first leg against CAF Champions league defending Champion Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe stadium before a return leg at Phillip Omondi stadium on March 18th 2017.

“We are going to play our way. All we have to do is to respect them as the defending champions but not changing our style of play. We shall try to be orderly not to concede lousy goals and create as many chances as we can and make sure we score because it is important” said Mike Mutebi, Head coach KCCA during yesterday’s press briefing.

Before the Friday game, KCCA on Wednesday hold a warm-up match against University of Pretoria. Sundowns are the reigning African champions and the club that Cranes star player Denis Onyango plays for.
