Justice Kavuma salary raised by Shs 8m, Chief Justice to earn Shs 240m a year in new structure

Government has raised the salaries of the top judicial officers effective January 1st. At the end of this month, the top judicial officials will be walking away over Shs. 8m richer than last month.

According to the document, the chief justice’s salary has been increased from Shs 11m to 20m while deputy justice raised from 10m to 18m. The permanent secretary’s salary has been increased by five fold from 3m to a whooping 15m! How would you react to that? Not even our stylish prophets could make such a prophecy and you believe it!
