Singer Bebe Cool recently used quite uncouth terms to describe fellow artiste David Lutalo, who is also an Africell brand ambassador.

Bebe described Lutalo as ‘short, dark and not as good looking!’ Bebe’s reaction was sparked off by a question about Lutalo having been more deserving for the artiste of the year award at the recently concluded HiPipo awards!

“Never compare me to any Ugandan artiste again! Building a brand comes with several aspects; it starts with the looks, the hygiene and experience. David Lutalo is a good artiste, but he can never come any close to me,” Bebe said.

Well, after these comments, Bebe was seen at the Africell offices on Clement Hill road. Rumours spread fast that Bebe was seeking to replace Lutalo as the Africell ambassador. However, during an exclusive chat earlier this week, Bebe told us that he was at Africell at the invitation of the telecom company’s boss.

Bebe also went ahead and told us that he had no plans of becoming the Africell brand ambassador. “I was called to do an advert for Africell, but not to become a brand ambassador,” Bebe told us. When asked how much he had received for the advert, Bebe simply laughed out loud and signed out!
