KIU lecturer abducted on gun point at Afro American restaurant in Bukoto

Kampala International University lecturer Mr. Mubarak Kalenge was on Sunday evening abducted on gun point by unidentified goons at Afro American Restaurant in Bukoto where he had gone for a cup of coffee.

According to the eye witness who is the manager of the restaurant Julius Agasa, Mubarak Kalenge was abducted and forced into a car.

“Kalenge was picked from the restaurant by unknown people and forced him into their car which they had parked across the road. When we tried to help our client, one of the goons pulled out a pistol and we surrendered”, he revealed.

He then notified the police.



Kalenge who is also a lawyer working with Kampala Capital City Authority has since then went on missing a situation which has now created panic among his relatives. Kalenge’s relatives call upon anyone with information concerning his whereabouts to either reach out to them or report to the nearby police station.

They claim he might have been kidnapped in issues which are in line with his duties as a lawyer or goons might have made off with him due to money reason.
