Another classic concert is here! Dubbed ‘Tugende Mukikadde,’ the concert, which is a first of its kind, seeks to honour Ugandan entertainers that made us dance back in the day!

Kampala Serena Hotel has already been confirmed as the venue and the date will be Saturday May 6. And what’s such an event without the involvement of the country’s only free newspaper number one entertainment and lifestyle publication?

Matooke Republic is investing a whopping Shs35m to ensure the event turns out a success and will as such be the event’s print media partner.

The Matooke Republic Marketing Director Darius Mugisha said, “As a paper with the utmost authority on entertainment, we are happy to support a unique event that will bring together respected Ugandan music icons on one stage”.

Sprout Africa are the organisers of the Tugende Mukikadde concert which will feature performances from Afrigo Band, Kabuye Ssemboga, Mariam Ndagire and Halima Namakula. Entry will be Shs100,000 while a table will go for Shs5m.
