Fr. Simon Lokodo, State minister of Ethics and Intergrity has described Stella Nyanzi’s behaviour as unprofessional, immature and uncivilised. He was answering questions in an interview with NBS television about Stella Nyanzi’s viral Facebook post to which the First lady reacted to.

Fr. Lokodo explained that Stella Nyanzi would have made her concerns known in a more responsible manner given her level of education and status in society as a high profile educationist.

He stated that although some of her concerns “might hide some truth behind it”, the way she airs it out is wrong. He condemned her strong explicit language which she uses to drive her point home.

Dr. Stella Nyanzi has openly criticised the government using unorthodox style of writing on her Facebook wall that has left several shocked. In a blistering Facebook post, she reacted to the government’s failure to honour its pledge of providing free sanitary pads to the school girls and the First lady’s caution against use of boda boda for transporting school children.

Stella Nyanzi is currently running “pads for girls” campaign to provide free sanitary pads and health materials to school girls especially in rural areas.
