Maj Gen Muhoozi’s ex-deputy Brig Sabiiti appointed to head Military Police

Former Deputy Special Forces Commander, Brigadier Sabiiti Muzeeyi Magyenyi has been appointed the Military Police Commander. Sabiiti replaces Col Emmanuel Kanyesigye who heads to Gulu as the UPDF 4th Division Commander.



Sabiiti returned from a special military course early this year before taking leave.

The 4th Division Command position has been vacant since the departure of Brigadier Kayanja Muhanga to Somalia. Col Akiiki Rugadya has been serving as the caretaker of the post.

They are also tasked with training and providing Close Protection operatives from within the command for senior military personnel on operations.
