Dr. Stella Nyanzi at Kampala High Court for a hearing of her bail application. Her team of lawyers complained that Buganda Road magistrate Court injudiciously handled the bail hearing.

Criminal division of High court recalled Nyanzi’s case file from Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s court following an appeal by her lawyer Isaac Kimaze Semakadde. Kimaze claimed that the Buganda Road court chief magistrate James Ereemye Mawanda had a coalition  with the state to frustrate his client’s bail application hearing.
