The body urges that increase of the salary for the head of the Judiciary will help to reduce on corruption cases in the judicial system. Their plea also aims at matching the salary paid to the Kenyan Chief Justice.

On several occasions President Museveni has warned public servants against persistent demands for pay rise urging that they should be patriotic enough and be contented with want they earn.  Museveni claims that such pleas cripple implementation of other government projects like; wealthy creation and infrastructure improvement.

Incase the Judicial plea is met, Chief Justice Katureebe will be amongst the top earning public servants  with some being; URA boss Dorris Akol , UNRA Boss Allen Kagina,  KCCA ED Jennifer Musisi, BOU Governor Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile and Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga.

However, for long, civil servants like  Teachers, lecturers and medical personnel have unsuccessfully made similar pleas.
