Express FC captain Saddam Juma completes move to rivals KCCA FC

Ibrahim Saddam Juma has this morning completed the long-awaited move to KCCA FC that had stalled since December. He signed a three-year deal that will keep him at Lugogo until 2020.

The transfer now means he will not feature in any local competition for KCCA FC till the end of the season. . This includes the Uganda Cup semi-finals game between KCCA FC and now former club Express FC since played for the ‘Red Eagles’ in earlier encounters.




However, the skipper is eligible to make his debut in this weekend’s Saturday, May 13 CAF Confederation Cup fixture against FUS Rabat. KCCA have also confirmed the inclusion of defender Hassan Wasswa Dazo who has for long been on the sidelines due to injury.

Juma gained the limelight during his two-year (2009-2011) spell at Bunamwaya FC currently Vipers SC. The pass master later joined  Vietnam side Sai Gon Xuan Thanh but things did not move well as he sustained various injuries that made him return home.
