Self-proclaimed Ghetto president HE Bobi Wine was officially nominated to contest for the Kyadondo East constituency MP seat yesterday, with thousands of fans and motorcades escorting him to Kasangati Saza grounds and paralysing business in the area.

They say, the first and best support, always comes from family but well, by the look of things, Bobi is set to enjoy the best support from his second family; the music fraternity. News on our desk indicates that several musicians called Bobi’s campaign manager and requested to be included on his campaign program.

A source told us that established and upcoming artistes alike called and offered to entertain and also ask their fans in Kyadondo East to vote for their own.

“Chameleone, Radio & Weasle, Roden Y, Eddie Kenzo, JoanitaKawalya, Mesach Semakula, Geoffrey Lutaya, David Lutalo, Gravity Omutujju, Navio and Juliana have all pledged to personally come and entertain voters, [and] ask them to vote the right person for Kyadondo East,” the source told us.

And as far as the game of numbers is concerned, Bobi did exceedingly well on nomination day, with a mammoth crowd turning up for his first rally.
