Upon his release from Kira Division Police station, musician and Kyadondo East Parliament aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine called for calm among his supporters but some damage had already been.

Bobi’s rally in Kasangati was stopped and as he was whisked away to police, chaos ensued with people blocking the road. Police heavily deployed in the area to disperse the crowds as President Museveni is expected to campaign for NRM candidate Sitenda Sebalu in the same area.

Meanwhile, a woman driving a Toyota Harrier UAU 501H knocked boda boda men in the scuffle at Kira police. She managed to drive off but boda boda men put on a chase and caught up with her in Namugongo, destroying her vehicle and beating her up.

Police rescued the unidentified woman and she was rushed to hospital.

Bobi Wine has agreed to move his rally from Kasangati to Gayaza though he says it is unfair for the Electoral Commission to grant him permission to hold a rally and then cancel it because President Mueveni is in the vicinity.
