Like we told you a few weeks back, events host Douglas Suubi aka Daggy Nyce threw in the towel at NTV sister TV station Spark TV. We can reliably confirm that after a stint in the USA, where he hosted the Twegaite Convention, Daggy Nyce returned to Uganda for a few weeks before he got onto another plane to Australia on Monday night.

Unfortunately, this time round, Daggy is not going for a short stint, but has simply relocated. Daggy flew to Australia to live with his wife Heather and child- Suubi. After their wedding, Heather started pursuing paperwork to have her hubby live with her in Australia.

Late last year, Daggy was accorded ‘permanent residence’ status by the Australian authorities. Daggy however suggested to his wife that he works for a few more months before joining them. On Sunday, friends and family threw a farewell party for Daggy. The bubbly MC told us that his wife had already booked him a few interviews on different television stations in Brisbane, Australia
