Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine appointed to serve on Presidential Affairs Committee

The newly elected Member of Parliament for Kyaddondo East Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has been designated to the Presidential Affairs committee as he starts a new journey as a legislator.

Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, a stage name he has used throughout his music career, was appointed to the committee moments after taking oath undertaking to offer faithful service to parliament and defend and uphold the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.



The Presidential Affairs Committee is tasked with assessing the functionality of the Office of the President, including State House, Kampala capital City Authority (KCCA) and Security organizations like the Internal and External Security Organizations.

Andrew Ajaa Baryayanga Independent MP for Kabale Municipality designated Bobi wine to the committee on behalf of the Speaker. The committee is chaired by Adjumani Woman MP Jessica Ababiku who takes over from Nyabushozi county MP Col Fred Mwesigye.
