Pornography detection machine worth Shs300m approved and soon arriving — Fr. Lokodo

In a media briefing at the Media centre in Kampala, Minister of Ethics and Integrity Fr Simon Lokodo has today officially operationalized the Pornography Control Committee. According to Lokodo the committee will monitor and sensitize people about the dangers of pornography.

In this its mandated to prosecute those suspected of circulating or involving in any pornography related acts.  “The Pornography Control Committee will ensure that the perpetrators of pornography are apprehended & prosecuted,” Lokodo said.

Lokodo also revealed that the awaited pornography detection machine worth Shs300m is soon arriving in the country.

Last year, Parliament approved and allocated Shs2.6b budget to the Pornography Control Committee as a step intended to control the continued growth of immorality in our motherland.
