At the beginning of this week, news broke that former NTV and Radio City presenter Dave Dash had run mad after a video of him walking stark naked in one of the city suburbs surfaced on social media.

Dave Dash’s nervous breakdown was blamed on drugs and he checked himself into rehab at Butabiko Hospital the following day.

Celebrity hairstyle Kennedy Zziwa of the Hair By Zziwa fame who recently checked out of Butabika after battling drugs and alcohol broke the news of Dave Dash entering rehab.

“Dave has checked into rehab and I am so excited to have met him this morning. He looks very much in shape and enthusiastic,” Zziwa said.

Asked how he felt, Dave Dash. “Proud. I am proud of myself, mostly because I wasn’t forced to come.”

Zziwa says he told him about how his “soldier” has become famous on the Internet and he laughed about it.

Dave Dash’s reason for the meltdown was that he was depressed after working for many days without getting adequate rest.

Dave Dash has also vowed not to abuse drugs ever again.

“I am never going to use again. Never,” he vowed.
