AGE LIMIT: Minister David Karubanga rejects microphone with red cover at public function in Hoima

State Minister of Public Service Hon David Karubanga turned heads when he rejected to use a microphone with a red cover at a function in Hoima. He stated that it could have been a trap laid by what he described as populists to portray to the public that he belong to the “Togikwatako” group.

He some leaders of popularizing only section 102 ” b” of the constitution yet the bill has about seven issues.

Earlier on, Hoima LC5 vice chairman Chichi Benson had challenged the Hoima parliamentarians against constitutional amendments on land and presidential age limit.

He said Bunyoro has unique challenges that need to be advocated for citing lack of university, district hospital among others. He said the basic democratic principles are still wanting in the country.
