‘Mugaati gwa butter’ Hon Mubarak Munyagwa withdraws from FDC presidential race

‘The Forum for Democratic Change Electoral Commission yesterday confirmed that Kawempe South Member of Parliament, ‘Mugaati gwa butter’ decided to withdraw from the party presidential race.

According to the committee, the MP will soon officially come out and give his stand on why he bowed out.  The committee also went ahead to officially release the Party’s Voters’ Register for the upcoming National Delegates Conference scheduled to take place on November 24 2017 at Namboole.

The Register consists of members of the Parliament, Women’s League, Youth League, District Delegates, Constituency Delegates, Members of the Diaspora, Eminent persons, NEC, Mayors and LCV Chairpersons.

The presidential hot race is amongst incumbent president Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu, FDC secretary general Nathan Nandala Mafabi and former Kumi County MP Patrick Amuriat Ob
