Following his hard earned win against incumbent and bush war veteran Gen Mugisha Muntu, Patrick Amuriat is spitting venom as he prepares to start his five years term at the helm of the leading opposition party. This morning while appearing on NBS TV, Amuriat revealed that he has only come with one main strategy and its defiance.

“We are all going to have one strategy and it will be defiance. All other tactics will fit in together,“Amuriat revealed.

“I have always defined myself as a worker of FDC. I came to this contest out of necessity. I saw a downward trend in FDC and I said ‘this can’t be happening’. I’m prepared mentality and physically to work for FDC.”

According to the former Kumi county legislator his first issue to be addressed is to build unseen structures from the grassroots and to appoint a cabinet which consists of founders and elders that will advise him.

Amuriat will be sworn in this Thursday at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi.
