Prof Kanyeihamba: I have lost trust in Gen Mugisha Muntu. He is not a man of his word

Prof George Kanyeihamba has come out to criticize former FDC party president Gen Mugisha Muntu saying he is contradictory and lacks qualities of a good leader.

Speaking on a local television channel this morning, Kanyeihamba said that during campaigns, Muntu promised to accept any results from the elections but has since behaved in a way that seems to show he does not agree with them.

According to Kanyeuhamba, the winner of the FDC party presidency Patrick Amuriat is beat all the four candidates during the debate though he missed a point.

“Amuriat made a fundamental mistake when he chose defiance as a way of gaining power from NRM. Defiance is not a policy. Otherwise he was too good,” Prof Kanyeihamba said.

On the future opposition parties in Uganda, he said the only remaining party, FDC, that Ugandans had hopes in is already disintegrating and the country should forget about opposition in the country.

Even though he hailed former presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye for he has always kept defiant, Kanyeihamba said him and Museveni are all the same because they all do not accept to be corrected.

On Zimbabwe issue, Kanyeihamba said it may not happen in Uganda because the only people who can do it are very close to President Museveni, but prophesied that if Museveni stands in 2021, he will lose.
