The WizKid concert lived to the billing and will arguably go down as the biggest concert held this year! He filled the intimidating Lugogo Cricket Oval and kept revellers on their feet throughout his performance! There was no dull moment at the WizKid concert!

The night started with several Ugandan acts “warming up” the stage  as they prepared the fans for the much anticipated act. Trust Ugandan fans, they were anxious and kept waiting. Rabadaba, Vinka, Fik Fameica, Beenie Gunter, Vampino kept the Ugandan flag high as they performed off the “proverbial CD”.

Rabadaba brought his swagger sending the crowd wild! Vampino, Beenie and Fik Fameica continued with same line  divering energetic vibes as Winnie Nwagi blended in sensuality with her famous crowd favourite booty twerking move.

Deejay Shiru and MC Kats lit up the crowd before Star Boy owned the night.

He commanded, and radiated energy through the filled venue and fans magnified it as delivered “hit after hit”.

Backed by  live band that added wealth to the sounds and a sharp contrast with the Ugandan acts, WizKid awed the crowd.

The usual “hard to please” VIPs had no room for their egos. They stood on the seats, dancing and singing along throughout the night.

“Caro”, ” Make you dance”, ” Closer”, “Show you the money” and several hit songs gave Ugandans special memories. He brought the romantics on as he spoke about marrying Ugandan woman. At one moment he brought a girl on a stage and in another he offered one $5000!

He capped off his performance with “Ojuelegba”, in honour of his birthplace, leaving the crowd begging for more!

Good thing he promised to be back.
