A few months back, rumour was ripe that things were not all that good (financially), for tycoon Patrick Bitature. Tabloids carried stories of how Bitature had lost almost all his fortune to banks after failing to clear loans. While it’s true the Simba Telecom honcho needed financial help, seeing that he was even listed among the businessmen that filed for a ‘bailout’ from government, it appears the judgment that he had run broke was quite rushed by the tabloids.

The latest on our desk, however, is that Bitature is the brain behind the new five-star luxurious Naguru Skyz hotel located on Naguru Hill.

For the past several months, Bitature has been working quietly on the state of the art facility. While on a visit to the former WBS TV building, now Kwese Tv headquarters, we couldn’t take our eyes off the new splendid structure in the vicinity, which we were informed is Patrick Bitature’s new multi-million dollar investment- Naguru Skies Hotel.

And while we were allowed to take a tour of the facility, we were forbidden to take any pictures as management insisted construction works were still ongoing. We have learnt that the facility that boasts of 147 rooms will be officially opened to the public with a celebration on New Year ’s Eve.   Congs Mr Bitature!
