Hon. Beatrice Anywar aka ‘Mama Mabira’ has melted hearts of the red ribbon camp as she voted “yes” for the presidential age limit amendment.

The Kitgum legislator has today openly showed her true side. Beatrice Anywar rose to prominence as an FDC opposition leader. However, she soon switched camp and joined Amama Mbabazi’s “Go Forward” camp against President Museveni. Well, as it is said, in politics, there are no permanent friends or enemies.

The ongoing voting has been made transparent as very MP is called by name to stand and announce his/her side. By time of writing this ‘yes’ was leading with 144 and ‘No’ 39, however, for the article to be amended, those saying yes have to make 290 votes.
