It’s digital migration era and the Kifeesi are not only breaking into homes unscathed but also have broken into online space. Yes, the notorious criminal gang that is said to be behind criminal activity in the city and sorrounding areas now have a twitter account @Kifeesi_Ug “Official Twitter account for the largest criminal syndicate in Uganda”, the bio reads.

They sent their first tweet on boxing day announcing their arrival in Luganda, “Abeeno kati newano wetuli” loosely translated as, “We are also over here”. The account has so far 108 followers and is following Bobi Wine, NRM, FDC, Uganda Police, Parliament and the IGP’s twitter account.
