After President Museveni commissioned the New Nile Bridge, which is Africa’s fifth bigggest bridge, excitement filled the air. While government officials and pro-government supporters hailed the development as a symbol of progress and good leadership, opposition supporters were not swayed. They dug out internet archives and filled our newsfeed with other bridges around the world contructed a lower cost yet more magnificent.

However, like a true government spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo perhaps asked himself;”What would a Muzukulu do?” Well, he took a selfie. An innocent selfie.  Then the games begun.

Several filters have since been added to the selfie and they look just hilarious!
