Rwanda was one of the first countries to appreciate the dynamic duo of Radio & Weasel when they broke through in 2007. The duo made several trips to Kigali where they were always treated like superstars.

Some sections even claimed that the duo received so much love because Radio had his roots in  that part of the continent! Well, while that rumour remains unconfirmed, it is at least public knowledge that Radio dated singer Lilian Mbabazi, a Ugandan of Rwandan origin and had two children with her.

But even before the affair with Lilian, the dynamic duo had serious admiration in Rwanda to an extent that a group of fans decided to start up the Goodlyfe- Rwanda group. The group consists of both Goodlyfe fans and Rwandan musicians who were only permitted into the group by Goodlyfe management.

So it’s against that background that the Goodlyfe crew in Kigali decided to host a mega concert at which they will honour their fallen soldier. According to Uncle Austin a leading Rwandan singer and radio personality, the event is scheduled for some time during the Easter weekend. Austin told us Weasel and manager Chagga gave them a go-ahead to organise the tribute concert, and confirmed all leading Rwandan musicians will perform at the event which will be held at the Amahooro stadium in Kigali.
