Music manager Emma Carlos has confirmed to us that he quit the Goodlyfe crew. He confirmed that he left the music group after discussing with fellow manager Chagga. In a brief interview  Emma stated that he shared a special friendship with late Mowzey Radio; the reason he got signed.

On keeping Radio’s legacy

Emma downplays Chagga’s capability to keep Radio’s legacy. He says it is only Frank Ssekibogo ( brother to late Radio), Lilian Mbabazi and Swangz Avenue’s Benon Mugumbya who can maintain the legacy of the fallen star. He stated that Chagga might have a special relationship with Goodlyfe but he lacks the management and strategy skills.

“Before Radio died he told lots of things. We used to share so much and according to my own experience,  a committee of three people should be formed to see the legacy of late Radio’s moving on. It would recommend Lilian, Frank and Benon to be on that committee. I don’t see any other persons as far as I know who  have the fallen singer at heart and would wish to have his legacy to live on,” Emma said.

Radio wanted to quit Goodlyfe

Carlos went on to reveal that the late Radio Mowzey was on the verge of quitting Goodfyle before he breathed his last .

“Radio’s death came shortly before he left Goodlyfe. I remember he was planning to go to Kigali for two months and on his return he was to announce his departure as a Goodlyfe member,” Emma added.

Starting Angel Music

Carlos also went ahead to explain why Radio created Angel Music.

“Radio said that the type of music he used to sing is termed as Angel Music and that he wanted all his songs starting from his first one called ‘Jennifer’ should all be put under Angel Music,” he explained.

On Weasel’s progress

According to Emma Carlos, for Weasel to achieve progress as a solo artiste, he should hire another manager other than Chagga. Emma believes despite the special bond between the two, Chagga lacks the necessary skills to make the singer stand out.
