Top African fashion designers to stage charity show for under-privileged women this Friday

The Embassy of Italy and AVSI Foundation will this weekend Friday March 9 2018 hold a fundraising fashion show dubbed ,“Seeds of Hope; Moving Forward” at the residence of the Ambassador of Italy.

Funds raised will be devolved to the women of Meeting Point International (an implementing partner of AVSI Foundation in the Distance Support Program) to assist them in becoming enterprising and self-sustaining business people.

The show which kicks off at 5:30pm will see more than 13 top African designers from Madagascar, Congo, India and Uganda showcase their self-made outfits.

Speaking at the during the launch, the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga will grace the event just like the previous edition.

Event tickets are on sale at Shs80,000 and Shs120,000 for the VIP. Tickets can be found at AVSI Foundation, Ggaba Road, Definition Africa, 1st Floor, Acacia Mall, Acacia Avenue.
